My mum heard you on the radio a few days ago and was interested in the tip to cut down travel sickness, but has missed some of it, can you please email it to me?
While repairing appliances for customers many have asked if we knew of a simple prevention for kids feeling sick in cars. We’re not doctors, however, we believe detergents are so strong they can iritate babies skin due to overdosing your washing machine with detergent. It’ll reduce acne iritation on teenagers skin. Here a few tips people have passed on to us:
- Wash/ dry your clothes inside out. While in the inside of the garment is bouncing off the drum it reduces static electricity in the garment. A large reason kids get sick in cars. (It also prevents the garment balling / fading).
- Reduce your detergent input to heaped tablespoon / eggcupful of detergent to you washing machine. Increase the detergent gradually for harder water areas. You’ll know you’ve got hard water if you kettle element is white!
- Don’t dry your clothes fully. Dry at half-heat. Hang the clothes in the hot press just before they dry fully. Less ironing to do.
Any tips you’ve got pass them on. We’re always keen to learn.
