I can hear the Motor running, but, my Tumble Dryer drum will not turn. The most likely cause of this problem is a faulty Drum Belt. You’ll normally see the Drum Belt lying on the Tumble Dryer floor inside the tumble dryer.

The most likely cause of this problem is a faulty Drum Belt. You’ll normally see the Drum Belt lying on the Tumble Dryer floor.

  1. Check The Drum Belt - Replace if Faulty.
  2. Check that the Drum rotates freely. If the Tumble Dryer Drum is Stiff, Check the Front Bearings/Slides for signs of wear – Replace if Faulty.
  3. If the Drum rotates freely and the Drum Belt is properly around the Drum itself. Check the Motor Capacitor. Replace if Faulty.

**Place the Grooved side of the Belt against the Drum**

Here’s a handy DIY video showing you how to replace the Drum Belt
