Loss of suction is normally caused by one of the following faults:
Blockage in the suction hose.
(a) Disconnect the hose from the vacuum cleaner. You should feel strong suction in the vacuum cleaner.
(b) If you feel suction at the vacuum cleaner, the hose may be blocked and needs to be cleared.
(c) If not try the following:
- Filter Blocked. Clean the filter. Replace if faulty. There are at least two filters in your vacuum cleaner – pre/motor and post/motor.
- Paper Dustbag is full/clogged. Replace if full.
- Damaged/Broken Belt. Replace if faulty.
- Brush Roll worn/broken. Replace if faulty.
